Marsala, Italy: the Museo della Civiltà Contadina can also be visited

Enovitis in campo 2015 is ready to attract everyone, not just people from the industry

Olio Officina

On 5 and 6 June at the old Baglio Biesina in Marsala, wine professionals will be able to see a complete exhibition of the best machinery working directly in the two large vineyards of the Sicilian winery.
A series of initiatives for everyone, people from the industry and those accompanying, will support the exhibition, making the visit to Enovitis in campo particularly enjoyable and interesting.

You can take a dip into history by visiting the Ethno-anthropological Museum of Rural Culture housed inside the Baglio. This is not just a collection of tools and implements of the past, but a real testimony of how rural life was organised in the past.
The Museum, which will be open to the public during the two-day event, is organised into cycles that illustrate the various activities: the harvest, pastoralism, the wheat harvest and all the phases in the production of wine, oil and cheeses.

ENOVITIS JUNIOR, which began last year, will be back in 2015 to entertain the little ones. A circuit will be set up for children to tackle aboard small pedal tractors in complete safety. This is a way to make the visit family-friendly and to introduce the little ones to agricultural life in direct contact with nature. ENOVITIS JUNIOR is organised through the collaboration of exhibitors who manufacture tractors that will be providing their toy versions.

Finally, another event that will be back is VOTE THE TRACTOR, whereby visitors can vote for their favourite tractor on show and tested at the exhibition. ENOVITIS IN CAMPO has always sought to promote companies that stand out for their quality proposals, considering it essential to encourage the growth of the industry. Hence, the INNOVATION CHALLENGE – the prize awarded by a Scientific Committee to the best technological innovations presented at the exhibition – and VOTE THE TRACTOR, which is different in that the votes come from the public: the actual users of tractors that freely express their opinion according to criteria of efficiency, usability, convenience. They can give their vote after trying out the various machines in between the vines at Baglio Biesina or consulting the data sheets available on the site

Voting is very easy thanks to the software provided by MACGEST, partner of the initiative.
