The US and British presence will set the pace for the WOOE 2019 conferences

Joseph Profaci, Alexandra Kicenik and Simon Poole will be some of the guest keynote speakers invited to the 8th WOOE. The 8th World Olive Oil Exhibition comes back to Madrid’s IFEMA on the coming 27th and 28th of March with a wide range of international speakers and a very appealing program of conferences for a global audience. Joseph Profaci, director of the North American Olive Oil Association (NAOOA), Alexandra Kicenik, co-founder of Extra Virgin Alliance, Simon Poole, medical doctor and an international expert on the Mediterranean Diet and the current Executive Director of the International Olive Council and Abdellatif Ghedira, are just some of the renowned speakers at the fair this year.

Alexandra Kicenik returns to the WOOE accompanied by her colleagues Johnny Madge, a British communicator and olive oil taster based in Italy and Malcolm Gilmour, British importer and writer on olive oil at Olive Oil Times to talk during the round table discussion: “Tell, taste and conquer: How to communicate the extra virgin olive oil experience”

Abdellatif Ghedira will speak about the sector’s current figures and will participate in the book presentation The International olive cultivation: historical distribution, strategic analysis and descriptive outlook. Joseph Profaci will present the results of 2018’s NAOOA’s study about the US consumer’s attitude and use towards olive oil. Yale University (USA) will introduce us to the Institute for Olive Oil of the School of Public Health with two of its professors.
