“Piano Green”, start-up for smart agriculture solution, is born
Thanks to the collaboration between Santagata 1907 and Fos Greentech, “Piano Green” is born, a start-up for smart agriculture solutions. The Newco will focus on the marketing of the “Microcosmo” system and the “Eye-Trap” smart traps
Two Italian companies at the service of innovation and the environment: Santagata 1907 has been involved in the selection and marketing of quality olive oils and extra virgin olive oils for over 100 years; Fos Greentech is a subsidiary of FOS S.p.A, a Genoese SME in the field of consulting and technological research, listed on the AIM segment of the Italian Stock Exchange. Together they will share process and technological expertise to promote and market smart farming solutions.
The Newco – whose share capital is held 65% by Fos Greentech and 35% by Santagata – will be dedicated to the marketing, in the national and international territory, of the results obtained by the Engineering and Technology Transfer division of Fos S.p.A. in the field of research and development for smart agriculture; Piano Green S.r.l. will have its registered office in Bolzano and operating offices in Caserta and Genoa.
