It is not merely aesthetics, there is much more than the beauty of presentation packaging of bottles and containers.
It is worth investing also in functionality. All innovations must help improving usability and ease of use of olive oil, both raw and cooked oil.
Packaging appearance and functionality therefore jointly contribute to innovating the olive oil industry, which has yet much more to invent and propose.
This is the reason for the fifth edition of the international contest Le Forme dell’olio.

As always, different awards will be given, divided into two macro-categories, from the first to the fifth place:
– Gift packaging award
– Retail oil award
In addition, other special awards for both categories are the following:
– Special award for best label
– Special award for brand line
– Special award for originality and style
- Special award for innovation
– Commendation for social and educational value
After the end of the contest, only the names of the winners will be disclosed.
The award ceremony will take place in Milan, Italy, on Friday 2nd February 2018, during the 7th Olio Officina Festival.
