Meeting of the expert group for the organoleptic assessment of virgin olive oils and panel harmonisation
Officially designated experts from IOC member countries have been invited to a meeting on the organoleptic assessment of virgin olive oils.
The meeting will be held from 19 to 20 September 2019 at headquarters in Madrid. Participants will discuss topics of interest including the organoleptic assessment method; experts’ efforts to boost its application; results from the annual proficiency check tests; the report of the third annual ring trial on reference material; and the harmonisation of sensory analysis panels.
On 20 September we will also hold the usual workshop on panel harmonisation.
