TriestEspresso (Italy) expands expo areas for the 2016 edition

The Magazzino 26 of the Porto Vecchio of Trieste becomes the main access door to the most important specialized fair dedicated to the espresso coffee supply chain.
TriestEspresso expo will take place in four warehouses of the Porto Vecchio of Trieste, Italy, one more compared to the past edition, increasing spaces by 15%. The strong growth in requests for exhibition spaces and the expansion of collateral events, which confirm the ongoing growth of the exhibition, have prompted the organizers in choosing the Magazzino 26 as the access point of the event.

The most important B2B espresso coffee biennial fair, organized by Aries – Chamber of Commerce of Trieste, in collaboration with the Associazione Caffè Trieste, from October 20th to the 22nd 2016, is even more firmly rooted in the Porto Vecchio of Trieste, an historical location for coffee import activities starting as way back as the nineteenth century. The ample warehouses by the seafront where traditionally used for storing coffee sacks unloaded from merchant ships coming from all over the world.
The enlargement of the exhibition area allows to feature new companies, which will be able to take part to TriestEspresso for the first time (see exhibitors list www.triestespresso.it/padiglioni.html).

The wonderful structure of the Magazzino 26, recently brought back to its original splendour by an extensive renovation, will thus play a fundamental role in TriestEspresso 2016, and will host both commercial spaces and areas dedicated to cultural events and planned competitions, along with spaces dedicated to welcoming an ever growing presence of professional visitors, with areas dedicated to registration, catering and press.
Among the side events that will take place in the ancient halls there will be: the finals of Espresso Italiano Champion, workshop by Università del caffè illycaffè, the new Barista Bonanza programme organized by SCAE, tastings organized by the Federazione Italiana Pubblici Esercizi, conferences, training, and numerous workshops dedicated to coffee professionals.
