Stéphane Le Foll, French Minister of Agriculture, Agrifood and Forestry, signed last 18 November during the General Assembly of Restau’Co a “convention to draft a collective agreement” by the end of 2015 in order to improve the supply food in catering and strengthen sustainability. The network brings together managers who represent about 60% of the catering sector in France and committed to the following topics: “product liability” seasonality, “social responsibility”, resource conservation, waste management and economic responsibility towards employment and the local community. The Minister also welcomed the commitment of Restau Co to promote local or national products of origin.
