The BioSpremi project

BioSpremi is an innovative system for squeezing juice from olives or any other fruit. It combines environmental sustainability, economy and circular economy. It is regularly patented.

From a long tradition of olive oil production, as part of eco-research to facilitate the circular economy, we develop a new business area to innovate the squeezing methodologies of olives and fruits, containment of production costs. It reduces emissions and reuse the wasting materials; all these things are possible through the craftsmanship of Bio Spremi.

Customer wants a machine that allows squeeze the olives (or other fruits) quickly, with the minimum waste of water and electricity, with a simple and efficient machinery, but that is able to give an high end product (oil or juice). Another problem is related to the high end product (oil or juice). Bio Spremi is able to do all this things moreover provides to keep costs down in respect whit the current costs on the market.

The use of BioSpremi solves all the problemrelated to the current market, for example the problems related to excessive water and energy consumption and food processing. The benefit of a high quality extracted product, obtained with low environmental impact. The scraps become fuel to be consumed without further processing, they will be another income source to the company that uses the BioSpremi.

Target market concern medium farms / small producers of high quality oils and juices; or the medium / large companies that aim to support a ‘niche market’ alongside to the conventional one.
BioSpremi satisfies the need to get high quality food products. Combines industrial production with the need to protect the environment, by saving energies, and the immediate reuse of production waste. It permits an increase of extracted product yield by 20%. It lowers purchase costs of equipment by 30%.

The ‘milestones’ of BioSpremi project are two: the development of the prototype with the start of production olive oil through its use and obtaining the patent in recognition of this process in April 2015.
