The Tunisian government shows its support for the work of the IOC

The Executive Director of the International Olive Council met the Tunisian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Khemais Jinhaoui. Together, they discussed the activities of the IOC and the action taken to promote olive oil around the world. They also discussed the role of strict quality control in international trade. Mr Jinhaoui evoked the Tunisian government’s satisfaction with the work of the IOC, in particular under the leadership of the new Executive Director, who took office in 2016. He also reiterated Tunisia’s support for the IOC and reaffirmed his government’s readiness to continue its fruitful collaboration with the Organization.
