The final results in a list classified by absolute winners according to each of the six reference juries (Onaoo tasters, Ais sommeliers, Large-scale and Retail chain buyers Decò Italia, Horeca channel chefs and restaurateurs, journalists, consumers) with the list of extra virgin olive oils awarded with platinum, gold, silver and bronze cups, classified according to the different categories of fruitiness
At the MIOOA competition the oils were evaluated by six different juries. Here is the list of the extra virgin oils that were the top picks (and therefore the most voted) by juries represented by Onaoo tasters, Ais sommeliers, chefs and restaurateurs for the Horeca channel, retail-chain buyers, journalists and consumers
The Northern Hemisphere olive oils submitted to the MIOOA competition are already being tasted. We are still waiting for the finest oils from the Southern Hemisphere. Please make sure to send in your olive oil samples by the deadline of 15 July 2021.

The Covid effects create difficulties in the delivery of olive oils in competition. We recommend the utmost speed, because after this date we will not be able to accept entries

The deadline for sending oil samples is 31 March 2021. MIOOA is a selection of the world's finest olive oils carried out by the famous and the world’s oldest tasting school, ONAOO, based in the Ligurian city of Imperia. The ONAOO tasters, led by the panel leader, will carry out a pre-selection of the olive oils, thus identifying the various samples that will be admitted to the final and which will accordingly be assessed by a series of hand-picked juries selected on the basis of the groups they belong to, such as: buyers, chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, sommeliers and consumers. In order to take part in the competition, follow the instructions in the regulation and fill in the application forms.
